"Police Leaders in Ontario Saddened by Passing of NDP Leader Jack Layton"

Members of the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) joined policing colleagues from across Canada to express their sadness at the passing of Jack Layton, Leader of the Official Opposition.

OACP members meeting in Windsor at the Annual Conference of the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police (CACP) and police leaders across Canada appreciated Mr. Layton's commitment to community safety in Canada and for our police services. His presence will be missed in the nation's capital and beyond.
