Waterloo Regional Police Service Wins the 2011 OACP Crime Prevention Award

(Toronto, ON) – Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) has won the 2011 OACP Crime Prevention Award for a program that tackled a series of brazen robberies, fostered cooperation between businesses, citizens and police, and countered a bystander effect whereby citizens fail to call police.
