Toronto Police Service Diversity Workshop

The Toronto Police Service Diversity Management is hosting a complimentary informative and educational workshop on Thursday, November 1st, 2012 at the Toronto Police College.

This year’s theme is “Invisible Disabilities”.  It will include information such as “What is an invisible disability”, “How to identify which invisible disability it is”, “What do I need to know to assist/communicate/address the needs of the individual”, and “What are the best practices”. This workshop will cover seven types of invisible disabilities.

This complimentary workshop includes external speakers from community representatives, medical experts and recognized professionals who are committed to educating on the issues involving Invisible Disabilities.  This workshop also offers an excellent learning opportunity on awareness and best practices.

Date:  Thursday, November 1, 2012

Location:  Toronto Police College, 70 Birmingham Street, Toronto,

Time:  0730 hours to 1530 hours

Attached is a copy of our workshop poster and registration form (one form must be submitted for each person).  As attendance is limited, early registration is recommended.
