Police Chiefs to Release New Report on Organized Crime in Ontario

(Toronto, ON) – The Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) will release a new report into organized crime in the Province of Ontario.

Date:  Monday, July 9, 2007
Time:  10:30 am
Location: Toronto Police Headquarters, The Media Gallery
                  40 College Street
 
The report, Out of the Shadows: An Overview of Organized Crime in Ontario, will be released by OACP President Chief William Blair (Toronto Police Service).  Other police leaders on hand will include:

  • Deputy Commissioner Vince Hawkes, Ontario Provincial Police
  • Assistant Commissioner Michel Seguin, Royal Canadian Mounted Police
  • Chief Gary Crowell, Halton Regional Police Service
  • Deputy Chief Dan McDonald, Peel Regional Police
  • Inspector Tom Carrique, York Regional Police
