OACP Award to Acknowledge Exceptional Partnerships Between Ontario Police Services and Their Communities

The Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) is now accepting submissions for the 2010 OACP Community Policing Award. This award, which will be presented at the OACP’s Annual General Conference and Global Showcase on June 16, will recognize an exceptional partnership between a police service and its community in identifying a specific issue of concern and developing a successful, innovative solution to the issue.

The award is sponsored by Accident Support Services International (www.accsupport.com). Applications must detail a safety issue impacting their community and the strategy or strategies employed to proactively address the issue.
