Police Personnel Who Dedicate Themselves to the OACP’s Charity of Choice Will be Honoured at OACP’s Annual Conference in June

(Toronto) – Hundreds of police personnel dedicate countless hours each year to making it possible for Special Olympics athletes across the Province to reach their athletic potential. The Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) is proud to once again honour dedicated volunteers this year with the 2010 Torch Run Committee Award of Honour.
Submissions are now being accepted for 2010 Torch Run Committee Award of Honour. Awards will be presented to individuals who have participated for at least five years in the Ontario Law Enforcement/Torch Run for Special Olympics as a coordinator/fundraiser.
Submissions for these awards must be forwarded to the OACP office no later than Friday, April 2nd, 2010. The award will be presented at the OACP’s Annual General Conference and Global Showcase on June 16.
