Police and Ministry of the Attorney General Working Together to Honour Police and Communities Working Together to Support Victims of Crime

The Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) and the Ministry of the Attorney General – Ontario Victim Services Secretariat are proud to once again present the 7th annual OACP Victim Assistance Committee Award.
The purpose of the award is to recognize and promote the contributions made by members of Ontario police services, alone or in partnership with private or public community agencies, for improving the level of service provided to victims of crime.
“Through the OACP Victim’s Assistance Committee, OACP is proud to work closely with our partners at the Ministry of the Attorney General to support and acknowledge the tremendous work of police and community groups when it comes to victims of crime” said OACP President Chief Daniel Parkinson (Cornwall Community Police Service).
The award will be presented at the OACP’s Annual General Conference and Global Showcase on June 16.
