Funeral Details for Peel Regional Police Officer James Otchakovski

A Police Funeral for Constable Artem "James" Ochakovsky will be held at Mississauga's Hershey Centre on Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at 1:00 pm.

The Hershey Centre is located at 5500 Rose Cherry Place, Mississauga.

Visitations will be held at the Turner and Porter Funeral Home, located at 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga, on Monday, March 8, 2010. Visitation times are 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Ontario's police leaders join the entire policing communuty across the Province in mourning the death of Constable  Otchakovski, who died of his injuries after his police cruiser was involved in a two-car accident at Airport Road and Steeles Avenue in Brampton on Monday, March 1. The 36-year-old husband and father of a 3-year-old boy was on his way to assist another officer when the accident happened.

The 22-year-old driver of the second vehicle involved in the crash suffered minor injuries and was released from hospital.
