The Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) will be kicking off its annual Lock It Or Lose It Campaign (#LockItORLoseIt) on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 in Hamilton. The Lock It or Lose It campaign is a province-wide crime-prevention campaign that coincides with the increase in vehicle traffic during the holiday season. The main campaign deliverable is a notice that resembles a parking ticket, which police personnel fill out and leave on the windshield of a vehicle to indicate that the vehicle was either checked and found to be locked, with no valuables in sight, or unlocked and/or with valuables in sight.
This year’s we a pleased to partner with the Insurance Bureau of Canada, Accident Support Services International, and Arrive Alive!DriveSober, as we encourage everyone to Lock It Or Lose It!
