Thank you to all the Ontario police services who made this year’s Crime Prevention Week (November 2-8) a tremendous success! The Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) is proud to continue to support police services across Ontario throughout November for Crime Prevention Month.
The 2025 theme for Crime Prevention Week this year was “Working Together to Protect Ontario”, and it was an excellent opportunity to showcase the efforts between police services and community organizations as they jointly work on preventing crime and protecting communities across Ontario. The OACP held a press conference on Monday, November 3, at York Regional Police Headquarters.
The OACP prioritized the following issues during Crime Prevention Week:
- Crimes against persons
- Crimes against businesses
- Reducing victimization
- Justice / bail reform
