Course Start: Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at 8:00 AM

This Reintegration course was originally developed by the Edmonton Police Service (EPS) in 2009. They recognized the need for a program that would offer more substantial support for members returning to work after any critical incident. EPS then developed the Long-Term Reintegration program, designed to meet the needs of any member who has been away from the workplace for an extended period. An Instructor-Training course was then facilitated in Ottawa in 2021. There are currently nine qualified Reintegration instructors in Ontario from various police services.

The Reintegration Facilitator Course will ensure consistent training for and accessibility to the Reintegration Program for services across the province. This course aims to provide knowledge, skills, and abilities to those undertaking the critical role of Reintegration Facilitator and supporting members returning to work.
