Gender-based violence is never acceptable.

On the National Day of Remembrance & Action on Violence Against Women on December 6, 2020, let's pledge to do all we can to stop the violence. Check out our Canadian Framework for Collaborative Police Response on Sexual Violence document.

This Framework provided Canadian police services with leading practices that support evidence-based, trauma-informed, and victim-centered investigations. It also includes an approach to sexual violence case review and the governance of case review programs.

This Framework was pioneered here in Ontario under the leadership of Chief Kimberley Greenwood, Barrie Police Service.
