Back to SearchThe Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP), in partnership with the Toronto Police Service and the TPS Missing Persons Unit, is pleased to present the inaugural 2026 International Missing Persons and Unidentified Remains Conference, taking place September 29 to October 1, 2026, at Hotel X Toronto, Toronto, ON.
This conference is designed to address the increasingly complex challenges surrounding missing persons investigations. This groundbreaking event will bring together global experts, frontline practitioners, researchers, and policymakers to strengthen international collaboration and advance best practices.
Attendees will explore innovative technologies, emerging investigative strategies, and interdisciplinary approaches to improve the search, investigation, identification, recovery, and reunification of missing individuals—regardless of the circumstances surrounding their disappearance.
