ProAction Cops & Kids is a charitable organization that brings together cops and kids to engage in skill-building and mentoring programs to create trust, respect and safer communities.
Currently, there are ProAction chapters in Toronto Police Service, Durham Regional Police Service, Hamilton Police Service, Halton Regional Police Service, and Peel Regional Police. OACP Executive Director Jeff McGuire is on the ProAction Board of Directors.
On behalf of ProAction Cops & Kids, the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) is pleased to share the below information with you, and we encourage you to share the information with anyone you wish.
The ProAction Cops & Kids 2021 Holiday Giving Campaign is completing its third week.
To date, we have achieved 42.57% of our $75,000 goal (total raised = $31,930), thanks to many of our members sharing details of the Campaign with their friends and colleagues.
Please see the graphic above for an up-to-date snapshot of funds raised in all five Chapters and in the Area of Greatest Need.
The next week is our final week of the Campaign, and your support is crucial if we want to make our goal! Wouldn’t you love to see all of the candy canes explode and ensure that our $75,000 dollar goal is matched for a guarantee of $150,000? Imagine the programs we could provide to the youth in our Chapters!
Monday will mark the last time we add any new items to the Holiday Auction, and I think you will agree that this week’s items are awesome. I have attached the Holiday Auction Cheat Sheet so you can get a peek at what’s coming down the pipe! Did I hear something about Tactical Days?
