Upcoming Provincial Campaigns

The Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police is proud to bring together police services, government, and community groups to make and celebrate significant events through provincial campaigns. Note these important campaign launches:

Crime Prevention Week 2026

Crime Prevention Week 2026 is scheduled for Sunday, November 1 through Saturday, November 7. OACP staff recently met with our Crime Prevention and Community Safety Committee Co-Chairs to develop themes for this year’s event, which have been submitted to the Ministry of the Solicitor General for consideration. The final themes and all supporting materials will be shared with all police services in October, so please stay tuned!

Festive RIDE

Before we know it, the holiday season will be upon us! With that in mind, save the date for the official provincial Festive RIDE launch event, which will take place on Wednesday, November 18, 2026, in Durham Region. Look out for an upcoming APL (All Police Leaders) memo with more information and an invitation to all Ontario police services.
