The Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) and the OACP-Corporate Communications Network (CCN) hosted a successful 2023 Crisis Communications Conference on October 3to 4 in Ottawa, ON. Delegates at the conference heard from leading experts in the field and were taken through real-life case studies in crisis communication management, including cyberattacks, managing social media, and lessons learned from the pandemic.

The Ontario Media Relations Officers Network (OMRON) held a conference in Sault Ste. Marie on September 14 and 15, 2023. Members reviewed the committee constitution and voted on a new name for the committee (official announcement to come!), as well as engaged in roundtable discussions.
