Peel Regional Police, in collaboration with Loblaw Companies Limited, is pleased to announce their inaugural Retail Organized Crime Conference scheduled for May 15th – May 17th, 2023, at the Pearson Convention Centre, Brampton, ON.

The activities of Organized Crime (OC) Groups account for more than a billion dollars worth of losses nationwide. These OC groups are becoming more sophisticated in their criminal efforts, and accordingly, the investigative and proactive response from the police, and those in the retail sector, need to be more thoughtful, collaborative, and advanced. This conference will pull together speakers from many sectors, including retail, police, justice and social support, all to create networking and working group opportunities so that every group can capitalize on best practices and lived experiences to be more efficient and effective in their particular jurisdiction.

This exciting Conference is the first of its kind, and space is limited for both police and retail agencies (representatives). The conference fee will include all meals and a social networking event on Tuesday, May 16th, at the Pearson Convention Centre. The conference cost of $275.00 per attendee (not including travel and lodging expenses) represents one of the best value-added offerings on the course/conference calendar for 2023. A block of rooms has been reserved at the Hilton Garden Inn at a special rate of $169.00 per night. Rooms are limited, so act fast. A more detailed agenda will be posted online in the coming weeks. Those interested in attending can click here to register. Should you have any questions, please email, ROCC@peelpolice.ca
