2022 Ride to Remember

Over the past 20 years, the Canadian Police Memorial Ride to Remember has grown to include approximately 180 police and peace officer cyclists from 15 law enforcement agencies who ride 700 km from the Ontario Police College to the Ontario Police Memorial in Toronto and then to the National Police and Peace Officers’ Memorial in Ottawa to pay tribute to the fallen police and peace officers who have been killed in the performance of their duties.

The Association of Black Law Enforcers (A.B.L.E.) is hosting its 30th Anniversary Scholarship and Awards Gala on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. at the Pearson Convention Centre, 2638 Steeles Avenue East, Brampton, ON. This year’s theme is “30 years of Advocacy and Action”.

Many Ontario police leaders, including OACP President Chief Nishan Duraiappah and Executive Director Jeff McGuire, are heading to Quebec City, QC, this weekend to attend the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police’s (CACP) 117th Annual Conference.
Ontario members are looking forward to sharing their experiences with colleagues from across the country and learning about innovative practices and important issues impacting Canadian police leaders.
