Media Release: OACP Launches Val Tag Refunds Fundraiser for Ukraine War Victims

(Toronto, ON) – The Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) has launched a fundraising program to encourage Ontario vehicle owners to donate their provincial licence plate renewal (validation tags) refunds to help victims of the war in Ukraine. The #ValTags4Ukraine supports the humanitarian efforts of the Canadian Red Cross. All proceeds raised will go directly to supporting people in Canada displaced due to the war in Ukraine.

OACP 2022 Annual Meeting & Resolutions

The Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police’s (OACP) Annual Meeting will take place on Monday, June 13, 2022. Members who wish to submit any resolutions to be considered at the meeting must submit them via email to Melissa Mascarin (mmascarin@oacp.ca) no later than Wednesday, April 20, 2022.

Chief Gary Conn, OACP President, and Executive Director Jeff McGuire were pleased to join members of the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police (CACP) for their Board meeting held in Rama from May 28 to 30, 2022.
