The Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) is pleased to partner with the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police (NJSACOP) and the Cambridge Centre for Evidence-based Policing (CCEBP) in Cambridge, U.K. to host a four-day virtual conference on evidence-based policing. The Constable Selection System (CSS) is two years old! On January 1, 2020, the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) launched a new system to assist Ontario police services in recruiting and pre-screening the best candidates for the positions of Police Constable and Special Constable. Over the past two years, the CSS has helped hundreds of new police recruits join our policing community.
