The 2023 Drug Recognition and Enforcement Conference will combine road safety professionals from across Canada for a two-day training event with in-person presentations from experts in the field of drug and alcohol-impaired driving detection and prosecution.
The Conference is open to currently certified Drug Recognition Experts, Forensic Toxicologists from Federal and Provincial Government Labs, and Crown Attorneys.
Speakers will cover topics from current drug trends, drug impairment and vision, legal updates, and toxicology trends and issues.
This Conference will satisfy the IACP requirements for the in-class training for DREs and bi-annual certification.

He has given presentations on drug impairment for the Missouri Office of Prosecution Services, the Colorado District Attorneys Council, the New Hampshire Office of Highway Safety, the Florida Coalition for Highway Safety, and the National Life Savers Conference. He is the lead Medical Marijuana instructor for the state of Missouri, Missouri Office of Prosecution Services, University of Central Missouri, and Missouri Southern State University.
