Mandate
The Committee's mandate is to identify current and emerging financial issues impacting police and develop strategies or solutions. It is important to the Committee to share best practices with Ontario police services by focusing on contemporary budget and finance policies, and monitor and analyze proposed legislative changes that will impact the financial management of police services and provide recommendations to the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) Executive. When required, the Committee will liaise with the other OACP Committees including the Police Cooperative Purchasing Group.
The Committee members are comprised of members who are responsible for the delivery of financial planning and business management service to Ontario's police services, and eligible for membership in the OACP.
