Quality Assurance, Policy, Internal Audit & Risk Management Network (QAPIARM)
Mandate
The Quality Assurance, Policy, Internal Audit and Risk Management Network (QAPIARM) unites professionals from police services across Ontario to strengthen governance, enhance service performance, and reduce organizational risk through coordinated, evidence‑informed practice.
Members share approaches to interpreting and implementing legislative and regulatory requirements, co-develop and exchange policies, tools, and methodologies, and discuss practices that support effective quality assurance, internal audit, policy development, and risk management across police services. This collective work promotes accountability and contributes to improved outcomes for the communities we serve.
The OACP is committed to supporting this group, and although the QAPIARM network operates independently of the OACP, both will work together to identify areas for partnership and collaboration.
